Good grief
Dug this up from the depths and thought it would be entertaining to have a look at! Somehow doubt anyone will look at it ...

Hello there,
Well it's been a wee while since I've posted and I feel bad. I've let my blog down, in a number of ways.
1) I didn't review the Harry Potter film when I went to see it ... but it was fabulously amazing. And Amazingly fabulous. It could indeed have been better in places (Harry was meant to have to really struggle to learn how to conjure that patronus). It was a bit strange get used to the new style and sets used BUT ... there were elements I loved. What concerns me is what will happen if Ms Rowling doesn't get the next two books completed soonish ... the kids will be too old to make the last two films. Hmmm. We shall see.
2) I didn't mark the end of friends. This is a tragedy of Steps proportions. I will rectify this as soon as I can get imageshack to work ... my internet is slow now I don't have broadband anymore
Ta ra for now x
Does anyone actually still read my blog after so long?

Oops a daisy ...
Firstly let me apologise for my lack of posts ... Not only have I been sorting out stuff for my new house and moving into it etc, I am also in the middle of writing reports ... being a nursery teacher does have the diasdvantage of having to write twice the amount of reports. Anyway it's all keeping me on me toes.
My house is lovely, it's a mid terraced house built in 1900 - very modern inside and light and airy. I've got two reception rooms, a fitted kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a garden. That's all! No decorating to do just a few odd jobs and a bit of sorting out to find a home for all me bits and bobs.
I'm vexed cause I really wanted to see Harry Potter and am having to wait until at least this coming Tuesday. But it does at least look as if I will be going now - going with my mummy and daddy - yay!
Was meant to be getting new internet at new house, but looks as though I have to wait for about two weeks - also vexed. So using the internet has to wait until A) I get chance at school or B) I am at my mum and dad's. Anyway, will be back with you all a.s.a.p.
See you later alligators x

I wouldn't want to stay there
Apologies for the lack of posts at the mo ... to be honest should be doing something much more productive than this now. Today is the day I am getting the keys to my new house and I am therefore off work. Anyway grabbed five mins just to refresh the countdown.
14 days to go
Do you fancy a visit?
Hope to resume normal service soon.

Something wicked this way comes in 21 days
He he and I'd love a ride on a triple decker bus with beds in it.
Just stick out your wand arm and see what happens ...

Birmingham ... it's bostin'
Some of you already know this, some of you won't. I come from the second city in England Birmingham. It's vastly underated you know. In magazines it's always Manchester, Newcastle, Leeds and the like that get mentioned for good nights out and this vexes me a tad. (I can only vouch for Liverpool as it's the only one of those I've been to, but I will add that I did have a fantastic night out there and that the shops were great. Anyway, back to the matter in hand.
Birmingham is fab.
1) We have great shops, particularly now we have
The Bull Ring It's got a Selfridges y'know and is a fantastic place to shop. The rest of the city centre has good shops too.
2) We have more canals than Venice (or something like that) and canalside bars are always pleasent
3) The night life is good ... something for everyone. But getting a taxi home can be a bit of a nightmare.
4) We've got a sealife centre!
5) It's home to ...
Loads of celebs come from Brum as well Cat Deely, Jasper Carrot, Ozzy Osborne, Ocean Colour Scene, UB40, Cal Cooper of Worlds Apart to name but a few.
The area I live in kind of borders on Birmingham and The Black Country
(which have totally different accents - don't mix 'em up ok?). I am lucky enough to have these claims to fame (Ahem). Are you ready?
I went to the same school as
but not at the same time ...
and I went to the college where
used to teach. My ex boyfriend's mum was a good friend of his and I know someone who once snogged him.
And just to finish off take a look at thisIt's Bostin'
Anyone coming for a visit?

Ok maybe I'm thick
Right this is just a little test to see whether I have finally sussed this inserting images thing or, whether I am doing something wrong or, whether it is the picture which is at fault or if indeed it is just me ...
And guess who it is?

Let the countdown commence
Should have started this yesterday really ...
27 days to go until the release of
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
It's the best book and the film looks as though it really ought to be wicked.
Can't wait!

Things are all getting a bit exciting.
Seven weeks ago today I went to look at a house, put an offer in and had it accepted , all in the space of an hour. Today I have had a letter from the Solicitors telling me all the searches are complete! I know the vendor wants to move in two weeks time, so it looks as though I will have keys and everything very soon! I can't wait ... looking forward to having a place to myself and making it feel like mine.
Will add that I am slightly nervous at the same time, and the thought of the money I will be using each month disturbs me a little too, but on the whole I am excited!!
